Gavin has recently discovered his feet. He kicks them straight in the air and reaches for his toes. It is so much fun to watch him learn new things.

Gavin - Day 126 - Physical Therapy

Gavin has been going to therapy since he was 2.5 months old to help him stretch his neck muscles that were strained during my labor. He has been doing great and the therapist said today that he is doing things that a 6 month old would do, like pushing up with his arms when he is laying on his belly and sitting up on his own. We only have to go back for one more check up in a month to make sure that his neck has completely healed.

Inspired to Read! I love reading to Gavin. I have so many fond memories of snuggling up in bed with a pile of books for my mom to read or the way my dad would use different voices for each Dr Suess character. In a world where books are quickly becoming a thing of the past, I hope we all continue to read to our children and inspire them towards the wonder of learning.
