Hey everyone! Sorry the posts have been in short supply this last week. We were out of town with a unreliable internet connection. Now we are back home with a only slightly less unreliable connection. We tried to post a video in yesterday's post but our internet doesn't want to cooperate long enough to get through the whole video upload. Check back with that post later and I'll do my best to fix it!

Britt took these photos of Gavin in his pack-n-play. She would set him with his feet against the side and he would push his whole body away from the side. He is getting so strong!

Gavin went shopping with mommy and Auntie Amanda today. We were supposed to be buying Christmas gifts for other people, but somehow ended up with lots of things for Gavin! I took these pictures on my phone right before we left. He is such a goofy kid.

Gavin loves looking out the window, almost as much as actually being outside. On days I work from home in the morning I put him in his bouncer and he contently stares out the window. There is a big world out there left for him to discover!

Gavin is 8 weeks old today. Time is going by so fast!

This is a video of Gavin waking up after a nap. He is so funny how he grunts, wines, smiles, and stretches every time he wakes up. I love this kid!

Gavin is growing into such a handsome little boy! He wore his first pair of jeans yesterday(they are size newborn, but he is finally big enough to wear them). He also switched to size 1 diapers yesterday.

Even though Aaron hates this outfit and says it's a blue dress with snaps, I convinced him to take some pictures of Gavin in it! I love the outfit and I love these pictures. Gavin is growing so fast. He is so funny to watch and makes the cutest little faces. He loves to kick his legs and smile. I am so thankful for such a happy baby boy. We took him out tonight to the grand opening of an outlet mall nearby and he did great. He slept almost the entire time. He even got some new converse shoes!

Gavin day 50!

Gavin is 50 days old! We took him to the doctor today and he weighs 10lbs and is 23 inches long! He is in the 25th percentile for weight and the 50th percentile for height! Our doctor said everything is looking good, except Gavin may have to wear a helmet. If you've been following the blog you might remember he had almost a second head or what I'd like to refer to as a "Kohn" head when he was born. He now sleeps exclusively on one side of his head which is making it flat. We are going to try physical therapy first and if his head doesn't improve, he will have to wear a baby helmet. Be praying that we will be able to correct the problem by repositioning and therapy. Otherwise Gavin is a healthy little guy.

He was having so much fun until he got his 2 month shots. Ouch!
