Gavin is a huge fan of bath time. He kicks and splashes in the water, all while chewing on his rubber ducky. We bought him a bath seat, so this is the last time we will be using his baby bath tub. Bath wills be even more fun when he can sit up and reach all of his bath toys. He is growing so fast.

Four generations of Kohns! It's a bit of a legacy. Not in a flashing up front sort of way. But to be a Kohns man means you are a God-fearing, financially independent, family oriented, civically conscience man. It also means you love to crack extremely dry jokes, laugh a lot, but not be afraid to cry. My grandpa has cared for my grandmother through Alzheimers, taking care of her every need when she couldn't do it on her own, even after she could no longer recognize him as her husband. I'm proud to pass down the Kohns name to Gavin. However it's a huge responsibility as well.

Gavin is back! Well, almost back to his regular self. Brittany, Gavin and I enjoyed an evening together at Friendly Center. Since it was so nice out we parked the car and walked around to different stores.

Gavin enjoyed playing with a new toy that we pulled down from the closet. He got so many toys for Christmas that we out some away and have taken them out a little at a time. He's so close to crawling and will spin himself in circles.

Gavin has long skinny arms and legs.

Gavin met his first Rock Star tonight. We went to an acoustic concert downtown at Green Bean coffee shop. My friend Austin Simmons as well as a few other artists played. Gavin enjoyed the music and bounced up and down to the beat.

Gavin goes to sleep on his own without being rocked or swaddled now. He pulls his little giraffe blanket up to his face and falls asleep almost immediately. He is such a good baby.
